Contestants must be 19 or older to enter

Attention All Singers!
You are invited to compete in the
Island Idol Karaoke Competition to
choose our area’s two best aspiring singers:
1 female & 1 male.

The Drill: You will be asked to sing a portion of your chosen song. The judges will give you a yes or no vote. If you get a yes vote, you will proceed to the next elimination. The finals will be held on Friday evening, April 16. Winners will be chosen & awarded prizes. They will be invited to sing at the Parrothead Dance the following night as part of the Real Florida Festival. Microphones provided for all competitions. Bring your own music, or choose from our library.

THE SCHEDULE

 PRELIMINARY TRYOUTS: Sunday April 10, 2010 from 3 - 7 PM
            3-7PM Chikee hut tryouts
            Judges:  Lary Wilhelm, Will Scott, Chuck Caudill

 SECOND ELIMINATION: Sunday, April 11 from 3 - 7 PM
            3-7 Chikee hut tryouts

 FINALS: Friday, April 16, 2010 7-8 PM

     LOCAL BANDS: 5-7 PM
     BANDS PERFORM: 8-10 PM
 PARROTHEAD DANCE: Saturday, April 17, 2010 from 6-10 PM
